Postnatal Care

Postpartum care is where my heart and passion truly thrive.

When a baby is born, so too are the parents, embarking on a sacred journey of transformation. I’m here to guide and support you as you step into this new role, helping you trust your natural abilities during the profound transition of the fourth trimester. This is a time not just for your baby to adjust to the world, but for you to rest, heal, and connect deeply with yourself and your newborn. In many cultures, the fourth trimester is honored as a period of deep care and recovery, but it is often overlooked in western cultures. My postpartum doula services are designed to ensure that you feel supported—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—through this time of rebirth.

What's included?

  • We'll meet in your home before your baby arrives, get to know each other, build your nest and prepare for the 4th trimester.

  • Breast/chest and bottle feeding support, giving you the confidence you need to succeed as well as baby wearing guidance.

  • Debrief and process your birth, talk through any concerns and answer any questions you may still have. Or if you just need a non judgmental ear to talk openly and honestly to, I'll be there.

  • Light housework such as a quick tidy and hoovering to help relieve that (mother)load in those crucial early days.

  • Take over, change, and settle your baby while you get some sleep, play with any older children, take a hot bubble bath or simply catch up on some "me" time.

  • Together we'll navigate, recognise and normalise newborn behaviours such as sleeping habits, feeding cues and signposting to any relevant services.
